I see beautiful weather on the horizon so it sounds like it's time for a Beach run. Park in the East Beach. The Vizslas will be towards the mouth of the wetlands towards the Golden Gate Bridge. We'll be at Crissy Field for this labor day weekend. Park in the East Beach parking lot. You'll find us towards the mouth of the wetlands inlet which is towards the Golden Gate Bridge when walking from the parking lot. See you there!

Hi everyone, Happy New Year. I apologize for not scheduling a meetup recently. Granted it's been raining the latter of 2008 and then the sudden dry January. We do have a new member to the Vizsla family, Igby, who is partially to blame for the lack of scheduled runs (C'mon, we felt bad leaving him by himself while Os is with us having fun out). He's due for his last shots on the 12th putting him at 16 weeks, and then he can go with us on the big dog runs. For his first meetup, we'll be doing it at Stern Grove because of its secure geography and hopefully the weather will be kind to us. If you haven't been there yet, it's one of the more beautiful off leash dog runs in the city surrounded by old growth trees (that hopefully won't fall on you). TO GET TO THE DOG RUN:
From Sloat Blvd, turn into Vail Ave. The dog run is located towards the center and NOT closer to the corner of 19th Ave. and Sloat. If you are unfamiliar with the park, just type "vale ave, san francisco, ca" into google. If you get lost in the park and can't find the hounds, call my cell 415-713-7056. I encourage you to come to this meetup, and get your puppy fix. Or at least get your V really jealous by getting your puppy fix! Del

Greetings Vizsla Owners, If the weather cooperates with us in a couple of weeks, we'll be out at Crissy Field with the hounds working off the turkey and fixins from the weekend before. We apologize for not having scheduled a meetup more recently as we've been mourning the loss of our Vizsla, Sy. We're back in good spirits and plan to be out at Stern Grove with our older Vizsla, Os, this Saturday at 1:30pm. Sorry for the short notice and we hope you can make it. If not, there will be more to come. To get to the offleash dog run, turn into Vale from 19th St towards the park. You'll wind down a hilly descent into a gulley where you'll find a parking lot. The dog run is the wide open space right next to the parking lot.

Weekend Morning Run
I just checked the weather and we anticipate sunny weather for the weekend. Let's start of the weekend right with a fun morning run for the hounds. If you haven't gone to Stern Grove, it's a beautiful off-leash park in a gulley surrounded by old growth trees. Directions:
From Sloat Blvd, turn into Vale Ave towards the park.
Keep driving forward and Vale will go downhill right into the heart of the park where you will find a parking lot. Dog run is to the west of the parking lot.
